HOW TO BOOK YOUR INTENSIVE COURSE

Firstly, you will need to attend an assessment lesson with one of our instructors. Please telephone or email us to arrange for your 1 1/2 hour assessment lesson. The cost of this assessment is £35.00. Our instructors will advise you if you are suitable for an intensive course, and which one is suitable for you and your requirements. Not every pupil will be suitable for an intensive course, and it is better to seek the advice of a fully qualified instructor before parting with your money! Please note that we are not able to book an intensive course with any pupil without an assessment lesson. The instructor will give you a booking form, and you can pay for your deposit to secure your booking during this lesson. The instructor will need to see both parts of your provisional licence and your theory test pass certificate on this assessment lesson. The deposit for either course is £100.00 and is non-refundable.

On receipt of your deposit and fully completed booking form, we will book your test with the DSA. Please speak to the instructor about current waiting list times for intensive courses, which is based around the availability of practical driving tests, which are set by the Driving Standards Agency. We will send you confirmation of your test date and a driving course timetable. Please advise us on the booking form of any dates which you are unable to attend, and preferred test dates.

If paying by cheque, the balance must be paid at least 14 days before the course start date to allow us time to clear the cheque. However, if you are paying the balance by cash, it can be paid on the first day of your course. Please note, while we are happy to cover pupils who live outside of our normal teaching area, you may be required to travel into Crawley on the days of your intensive course and on the day of your driving test. Your instructor will be able to advise you if this is necessary.

INTENSIVE TERMS & CONDITIONS

1) In the event of illness of an Instructor we will offer alternative dates or Instructors as soon as possible. If these are unacceptable then a refund or partial refund will be returned to you. The school cannot be held responsible if the course is completed and an examiner falls ill. If this did happen an alternative test date will be arranged as soon as possible by the DSA. Additional lessons may be required should this unlikely event happen, which will be in addition to your intensive course fee.

2) Deposit fees are paid in advance and are non-refundable.

3) You will understand that we have to reserve the right to withhold any vehicle to be used on a test, for the safety reasons of all concerned, if it is clear that a pupil has not reached a competent standard. This would mean the loss of your test fee. (The DSA require 3 clear working days notice for practical cancellations). Please be assured that most pupils do take their test!

4) Whilst the school runs a number of cars and every effort is made in the event of a mechanical breakdown, we regret we cannot be held responsible if it proves necessary to cancel the course or test as a result. A pro-rata refund will be given or alternative tuition arranged.

5) In common with the industry, we are unable to refund your remainder course fee unless 7 days written notice of cancellation is given.

6) On your test day, please bring your photocard driving licence and counterpart. If you have an old style licence you will need photo identity which can be arranged by us. You will also need to bring your theory pass certificate.

7) It is your responsibility to ensure that you can read a number plate from a distance of 20.5 metres (67 feet).
